Integrated Health

In rural communities, access to services tends to be a concern and the McNabb Center’s Mobile Health Clinic helps to break down barriers of accessing traditional health care. This program, which is part of Project Rural Recovery and funded by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services, screens for mental health, substance use and chronic health conditions and provides mental health and substance use treatment. The program also provides preventative health screenings, including TB, HIV and Hepatitis. The Mobile Health Clinic serves Cocke, Grainger, Hancock, Jefferson and Claiborne counties. To learn more, call 1-800-255-9711 or follow the Mobile Health Clinic on Facebook.

Therapeutic Preschool

The McNabb Center offers a full range of early childhood intervention and prevention programming, including Therapeutic Preschool.

Therapeutic Preschool is a 10-week outpatient program for children ages 4-6 who have experienced a traumatic event, such as abuse, neglect, natural disaster or loss of a loved one. The program helps children learn to manage difficult feelings and make safe choices. Children attend for three hours a day, three days a week and the environment replicates a daycare setting.

If you want more information on the Center’s Therapeutic Preschool programs, or to learn about other early childhood programs we offer, please call us at 1-800-255-9711.

Military Services

The McNabb Center’s Military Services program is available to anyone who has served in the military, their family members or their caregivers.

The Center believes it is important to serve those who have courageously served, or continue to actively serve, our country.

The specially-trained military services therapists can assist individuals facing post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, substance use, co-occurring disorders, thoughts of suicide and other invisible wounds incurred from service.

To find out more about the Center’s Military Services program, call (865) 444-2333.
