Speakers Bureau

The Helen Ross McNabb Center provides speakers to community groups, churches, schools and civic clubs throughout the year. These speakers are provided free of charge. Topics include:

  • ADHD

  • Foster Care Services
  • Schizophrenia

  • Mental illness (Adults/Children and Youth)

  • Mental health issues due to physical disorders such as cancer, heart disease, or strokes

  • Responding to trauma (church shooting, school shooting, 9/11), what to tell your children
  • Risks of violence in mentally ill persons
  • How trauma impacts a mentally ill person
  • Incarceration of mentally ill persons
