Substance Abuse and Co-occurring Services
New Beginnings for Families

New Beginnings for Families, an evidence-based program, provides substance abuse treatment for parents and support for their children. The program offers intensive outpatient (IOP) and in-home treatment.  An intake specialist works with families to help determine placement in IOP, In-Home, or Residential programs.  Therapists and care coordinators work with families to deal with addiction, develop community relationships, and build support to maintain sobriety.

Services offered:

  • Substance abuse treatment
  • Mental health services
  • Parenting education
  • Family support
  • Aftercare services
  • Job training
  • Care coordination

In-home services are typically provided between four to six months, and intensive outpatient program clients attend sessions three times a week for an average of three to five months.
